Land Rover is a global brand that has always been known for its unconventional communication solutions. The brand’s target audience likes to go off the beaten track in all aspects of their lives, which is why Land Rover has a penchant for using side paths in its communications.
Our task was to introduce the Land Rover Discovery in Hungary. But how do you introduce a 4×4 SUV in one of the world’s ‘flattest’ countries?
For the special launch, we chose one of the steepest and busiest spots in Budapest: the Budavár Funicular on the Buda Castle Hill, which we dressed up in the new Discovery’s uniform.
We turned the UNESCO World Heritage Funicular into an advertising space with a Facebook/Instagram campaign, and the viewership of the live videos streaming the process of the renovation showed that the idea had hit the mark.
For us, the Land Rover Discovery campaign was a dream come true, proof that any challenge can be overcome.
